<p><span style="font-family: Sukhumvit; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; transition: 0.1s; font-size: small; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU) made significant strides in research and innovation at the recent Thailand Research Expo 2024. Led by Assoc. Prof. Sureemas Sukkasi, Ph.D. Director of Research and Development Institute, the university′s delegation actively participated in the event, held at the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld. A highlight of RBRU′s exhibition was a project focused on upcycling discarded seashells into bioceramic products. This innovative approach, developed by faculty from the Faculty of Industrial Technology, aimed to boost the local tourism industry in Trat province, particularly in the Baan Nam Chiao community. By transforming waste into valuable products, RBRU is not only contributing to a circular economy but also supporting local businesses. RBRU faculty also participated in panel discussions on the crucial role of research in driving sustainable economic and social development in Thailand. The university′s active engagement in the expo underscores its commitment to addressing real-world challenges and fostering a culture of innovation. The Thailand Research Expo 2024 showcased a wide range of research projects and innovations from various institutions across the country.
