<p><span style="font-family: Sukhumvit; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; transition: 0.1s; font-size: small; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">On October 4, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University joined the annual commemoration of King Taksin the Great′s victory in liberating Thailand from Burmese rule. The event, held at the King Taksin Monument in Chanthaburi province, saw RBRU representatives, led by Assoc. Prof. Naknimit Akkasriworn, Ph.D. Assistant to the President, pay their respects to the revered king and the brave warriors of Chanthaburi. Organized by the Provincial Culture Office in collaboration with the Cultural Council, government agencies, private sectors, and other related networks, the event aimed to honor King Taksin and the people of Chanthaburi who fought alongside him. The ceremony sought to foster patriotism, unity, and appreciation for the sacrifices made by Thailand′s ancestors. Mr. Montsith Paisalthanawat, Governor of Chanthaburi, presided over the ceremony, which included a religious ceremony, the laying of floral tributes, the presentation of awards to essay competition winners, and cultural performances. Notably, the event featured a procession that reenacted the historical march of Chanthaburi warriors to join King Taksin′s army. The participation of RBRU in this significant event demonstrates the university′s commitment to preserving Thai heritage and fostering a sense of national identity among its students and staff.
