มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี โดยสำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน จัดพิธีแห่เทียนพรรษาประจำปี 2568 เพื่อเป็นการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมการแห่เทียน สร้างความผูกพันของชุมชนท้องถิ่น
สำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน จัดพิธีแห่เทียนพรรษา ประจำปี 2568 โดยได้รับความร่วมมือจากคณะ สำนัก สถาบันต่าง ๆ ในการประดับรถต้นเทียนพรรษาเข้าร่วมขบวน ต่อมาขบวนแห่เทียนดังกล่าวได้เคลื่อนที่ออกจากมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี ผ่านสี่แยกเขาไร่ยา ก่อนเข้าประตูมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากประชาชน 2 ข้างทางในการร่วมสักการะเทียนจำนำพรรษาเป็นจำนวนมาก หลังจากการแห่เทียนเสร็จสิ้น มีพิธีหล่อเทียนจำนำพรรษา ต่อด้วยรถขบวนต้นเทียนนำเทียนพรรษาไปถวายตามวัดที่แต่ละหน่วยงานภายในกำหนด สำหรับในปีนี้สำนักงานอธิการบดีถวายต้นเทียน ณ วัดเขาบรรจบ อำเภอมะขาม จังหวัดจันทบุรี เพื่อเป็นการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมการแห่เทียน สร้างความผูกพันของชุมชนท้องถิ่น
สำหรับงานประเพณีแห่เทียนพรรษา เป็นงานประเพณีที่รวมความผูกพันของชุมชนท้องถิ่น เริ่มตั้งแต่การที่ชาวบ้านร่วมบริจาคเทียนเอามาหลอมเป็นเทียนเล่มใหญ่เพื่อแสดงออกถึงความสามัคคี นอกจากนี้มีการแกะสลักเทียน ซึ่งต้องใช้ผู้ที่มีฝีมือทางช่าง มีความรู้ ความชำนาญในเรื่องการทำลวดลายไทย รวมทั้งมีการประดับเทียนพรรษาด้วยผ้าฝ้าย ผ้าไหม ดอกไม้สด และจัดขบวนแห่เพื่อไปถวายเทียน โดยปีนี้สำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน ได้ทำการยกระดับและส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการทำนุบำรุง อนุรักษ์ และสืบสานศิลปวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี ด้านการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นสู่ความยั่งยืน
Chanthaburi – Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, through its Office of Arts and Culture and Community Development, successfully organized the annual Candle Procession Ceremony for 2025. This grand event underscores the university′s commitment to preserving local culture, fostering innovation, and strengthening community bonds, aligning perfectly with its vision as a source of knowledge driving concrete sustainable local development. The Office of Arts and Culture and Community Development at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University orchestrated the 2025 Candle Procession Ceremony with exceptional collaboration from various faculties, offices, and institutes within the university. They meticulously decorated and prepared the candle floats that joined the spectacular procession. The parade commenced from Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, traversed the Khao Rai Ya Intersection, and returned through the university′s main gate. It garnered significant attention and participation from the public lining both sides of the road, who joined in paying respects to the Lenten candles. Following the procession, a ceremony was held to cast the Lenten candles. Subsequently, the candle floats proceeded to deliver the candles to various temples designated by each internal unit. This year, the Office of the President presented its candle float at Wat Khao Banjop in Makham District, Chanthaburi Province, further solidifying the tradition of the candle procession and strengthening the deep-rooted community ties. The organization of the 2025 Candle Procession Ceremony reaffirms Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University′s unwavering commitment to being a source of knowledge, fostering innovation, and leading sustainable local development. In the past year, the university was honored with the Outstanding Organization Award for Arts and Cultural Preservation from the Ministry of Culture, a testament to its success and genuine dedication to this mission.
