พิธีวางพานพุ่มฯ สัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2568

พิธีวางพานพุ่มถวายราชสักการะ และกล่าวถวายราชสดุดี พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ รัชกาลที่ 4 เนื่องในงานสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2568 ส่วนภูมิภาคคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี จัดพิธีวางพานพุ่มถวายราชสักการะ และกล่าวถวายราชสดุดี พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ รัชกาลที่ 4 พระบิดาแห่งวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย เนื่องในงานสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2568 ส่วนภูมิภาค "Science in Action for Sustainable Community" โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ไวกูณฑ์ ทองอร่าม อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี เป็นประธาน สำหรับวันวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาตินั้น คณะรัฐมนตรีได้มีมติกำหนดให้วันที่ 18 สิงหาคม เป็นวันวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ เนื่องจากตรงกับวันที่เกิดสุริยุปราคา ซึ่งพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 ได้ทรงคำนวณและพยากรณ์การเกิดไว้ล่วงหน้าอย่างแม่นยำ ทางคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี จึงได้จัดงานสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติขึ้น เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมพระเกียรติและยกย่องพระปรีชาสามารถทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 4 ผู้ทรงเป็นพระบิดาแห่งวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย สำหรับกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 19 - 20 สิงหาคมนั้น ประกอบด้วยนิทรรศการทางวิชาการ กิจกรรมฐานการเรียนรู้ และการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัย ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของบุคลากรและนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยฯ ที่สามารถนำองค์ความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์มาขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ทั้งนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยฯ ขอเชิญชวนผู้ที่สนใจร่วมงานสัปดาห์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ ประจำปี 2568 ณ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี

CHANTABURI, THAILAND – The Faculty of Science and Technology at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU) successfully organized National Science Week 2025, reinforcing its commitment to becoming a leading source of knowledge and innovation for sustainable local development. On August 18, 2025, RBRU held a wreath-laying ceremony and delivered an eulogy to pay tribute to King Rama IV, "the Father of Thai Science," as part of the regional celebration of National Science Week 2025. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Waiyagoon Thongaram, President of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University. National Science Day, celebrated on August 18, commemorates King Rama IV&#8217s accurate prediction of a total solar eclipse, showcasing his profound scientific acumen. Assistant Professor Waigoon Thongaram highlighted the event′s success, stating, “This year&#8217s National Science Week, themed ′Science in Action for Sustainable Community,′ is a significant achievement for RBRU. It serves not only to honor King Rama IV′s scientific contributions but also to inspire our faculty, students, and the community to apply scientific knowledge in solving real-world challenges. This aligns perfectly with our university′s vision of creating innovation that leads to sustainable local development.” The event, which took place from August 19-20, featured a variety of activities including academic exhibitions, hands-on learning stations, and research presentations. These activities showcased the potential of RBRU′s students and staff to apply scientific principles to tangible local development projects.
