<p data-path-to-node="3">Between August 4–7, 2026, the RSPG Southern Regional Coordinating Center at Prince of Songkla University (PSU) successfully concluded the practical training workshop on local resource database operations—specifically the <b data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="221">"Assistant Trainers: 6 Tasks of Local Resource Databases"</b> course—at the Suvarnabhumi Institute, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.</p><p data-path-to-node="4">The training featured principal guest speakers from the Plant Genetic Conservation Project Initiated by Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG, Bureau of the Royal Household) and received support from RATCH Group Public Company Limited. A total of 110 personnel from 38 organizations nationwide participated to build sustainable local resource management practices aligned with royal initiatives.</p><p data-path-to-node="5">Representing Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, <b data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="48">Associate Professor Porraphan Sutthiwatthanah</b>, Acting President and Director of the RSPG-RBRU Coordinating Center, assigned the center′s administrators and staff to complete the rigorous 4-day program. The comprehensive training covered theoretical lectures, in-depth practical sessions, and final project presentations, elevating staff competencies to serve effectively as assistant trainers and master the 6 standard RSPG tasks.</p><p data-path-to-node="6">The knowledge and skills gained from this workshop will enable the RSPG-RBRU Coordinating Center to provide expert support, consultation, and technology transfer to local government organization (LGO) networks across Chanthaburi and Trat provinces, driving collaborative local resource mapping and fostering sustainable environmental conservation awareness within communities.</p>
