On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the Business English Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), organized the second Apples for Education ("BE Knowledge Sharing for Youth") project, featuring an interactive English communication learning station titled "English in Action" at Sriratrat Nusorn School in Chanthaburi Province. The initiative engaged 70 students from Grades 10–12 and 20 students from Grade 7 under the core theme "My Amazing Travel Experiences: I Went To..., and I Felt..." The program focused on developing students′ knowledge and application of the Past Simple tense to communicate past experiences and travel stories. Fourth-year Business English undergraduates designed specialized worksheets and learning media following Material Design principles. They structured the learning progression using the Presentation–Practice–Production (PPP) framework, integrating Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Active Learning approaches. An Interactive Bingo Game was utilized to encourage active listening, speaking, Q&A practice, and peer interaction using the Past Simple tense. This created an engaging, energetic learning atmosphere that fostered active student participation and boosted confidence in English communication. In addition to student enrichment, the project provided fourth-year undergraduates with real-world teaching experience by applying theories from their Language Teaching for Thai Teachers of English coursework. The initiative further reinforced the university′s commitment to community academic outreach and strengthened ongoing academic networking and collaboration between the university and local educational institutions.
