<p><span style="font-family: Sukhumvit; font-size: small; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">On November 21, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University has taken a significant step towards enhancing senior education and community engagement. In a recent meeting at the University’s administrative building, RBRU President, Asst. Prof. Waigoon Tongaram, welcomed Mr. Charoon Bunying, Acting Vice President of the Chanthaburi Senior Citizens Association and Acting Director of the Chanthaburi Senior Citizens School. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss potential collaborations between the university and the senior citizens school. The two institutions explored opportunities for academic cooperation, joint programs, and shared initiatives. The partnership aims to align with RBRU′s strategic goals of promoting lifelong learning and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Chanthaburi, especially its senior citizens. Previously, RBRU′s Faculty of Education had successfully implemented a valuable senior citizen program designed to foster social interaction, improve health and well-being, and enhance digital literacy among the elderly. Assoc. Prof. Chanchalak Yiammit, an advisor to the Chanthaburi Senior Citizens School, was also present at the meeting. This partnership marks a significant milestone in RBRU′s commitment to serving the community. By combining the university′s academic expertise with the senior citizens′ wealth of experience, the collaboration promises to create a mutually beneficial and enriching experience for all involved.</span></p>
