องคมนตรีเปิดเวทีเสวนา เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่า

มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี และสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ จัดเวทีเสวนาและเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่า ตามโครงการส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการดำเนินงาน ภายใต้โครงการพัชรสุธาคชานุรักษ์ ประจำปี 2567ที่หอประชุมสิริรำไพพรรณ พลเอกเฉลิมชัย สิทธิสาท องคมนตรี เป็นประธานเปิดเวทีเสวนาและเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัย เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่า ตามโครงการส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการดำเนินงาน ภายใต้โครงการพัชรสุธาคชานุรักษ์ พร้อมบรรยายพิเศษด้านการดำเนินงานโครงการแก้ไขปัญหาช้างป่า ในพื้นที่จังหวัดจันทบุรี โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ไวกูณฑ์ ทองอร่าม อธิการบดี และคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัย ให้การต้อนรับ สำหรับกิจกรรมการนำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานวิจัย และเปิดเวทีรับฟังความเห็นจากหน่วยงานภาคีที่เกี่ยวข้อง ภายใต้การสนับสนุนโครงการ พัชรสุธาคชานุรักษ์ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อถ่ายทอด และแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ที่เชื่อมโยงกับทุกภาคส่วน ตั้งแต่หน่วยงานบริหารและจัดการทุนวิจัยและนวัตกรรม , หน่วยงานผู้ดำเนินงานวิจัย ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันการศึกษา และหน่วยงานผู้ใช้ประโยชน์ในพื้นที่ ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน รวมทั้งภาคประชาชน ให้การขับเคลื่อนดังกล่าวเกิดผลสำเร็จอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ซึ่งถือเป็นส่วนสำคัญที่จะผลักดันให้เกิดการดำเนินงานต่าง ๆ ที่บรรลุผลสำเร็จในอนาคต#RBRU #รำไพพรรณี #จันทบุรี #SDG15 #SDG17

On November 27, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand, hosted a seminar and research showcase aimed at addressing the growing issue of wild elephant encounters. The event, held at the Siri Rampaiphan Auditorium, was graced by the presence of General Chalermchai Sittisart, a member of the Royal Privy Council, who served as the keynote speaker. As part of the Bajrasudha Elephant Conservation Project, the seminar provided a platform for researchers to present their findings and engage in discussions with stakeholders from government agencies, private sectors, and local communities. The objective of the project is to foster collaboration among various sectors and to translate research into practical solutions for mitigating human-elephant conflicts. During his keynote address, General Chalermchai emphasized the significance of the project in addressing the pressing issue of wild elephants in the Chanthaburi province. He highlighted the importance of research-driven solutions in finding sustainable ways to coexist with these majestic creatures. RBRU President, Asst. Prof. Waigoon Tongaram, expressed gratitude for the support received from the Royal Privy Council and the National Research Council. He emphasized the university′s commitment to contributing to the conservation of Thailand′s natural heritage. The seminar underscored the need for a multi-faceted approach to address the complex challenges posed by human-elephant conflicts.
