ราชภัฏรำไพฯ ลงนาม MOU รักษาปะการัง สู่การท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืน

สำนักบริการวิชาการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี ร่วมกับชุมชน องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น และหน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่าย ลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งอย่างยั่งยืนของเกาะหมาก จังหวัดตราด มุ่งหวังการอนุรักษ์ ฟื้นฟู และใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรทางทะเลอย่างยั่งยืน อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาท้องถิ่นที่เข้มแข็งเมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2568 ณ Sweet Cake ตำบลเกาะหมาก อำเภอเกาะกูด จังหวัดตราด ได้มีการจัดพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งอย่างยั่งยืนของเกาะหมาก โดยมีผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วยากร อุดมโภชน์ รองอธิการบดี ด้านวางแผนและพัฒนา พร้อมด้วยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สุทธินันท์ โสตวิถี ผู้อำนวยการสำนักบริการวิชาการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี เป็นผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยฯ ร่วมลงนามกับภาคีเครือข่ายสำคัญ ได้แก่ สำนักงานทรัพยากรทางทะเลและชายฝั่งที่ 1 (โดย ว่าที่ ร.ต.วิษณุพงศ์ วิเชียรรัตนกุล ผู้อำนวยการส่วนอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรทางทะเล เป็นผู้แทน), องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลเกาะหมาก, กลุ่มอนุรักษ์ปะการังเกาะหมาก, ศูนย์อำนวยการรักษาผลประโยชน์ของชาติทางทะเลจังหวัดตราด, วิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยวเกาะหมาก และมูลนิธิรักษ์ปะการัง โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก บริษัท เอจีซี วีนิไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วยากร อุดมโภชน์ กล่าวถึงการลงนามในครั้งนี้ว่า "มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณีมีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการขับเคลื่อนการจัดการทรัพยากรทางทะเลของเกาะหมากอย่างยั่งยืน ความร่วมมือกับทุกภาคส่วนในวันนี้ สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยฯ ในการเป็นแหล่งความรู้ สร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรม และนำไปสู่การพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างแท้จริง" ด้านผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ สุทธินันท์ โสตวิถี กล่าวเสริมถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของความร่วมมือว่า "เป้าหมายหลักของเราคือการสร้างความร่วมมือที่เข้มแข็งระหว่างชุมชนชายฝั่ง องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น และภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อร่วมกันดูแลรักษาแนวปะการังอันเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของระบบนิเวศทางทะเลของเกาะหมาก ให้ได้รับการคุ้มครอง อนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟู เพื่อให้เกิดการใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไปในอนาคต" ในส่วนของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฎรำไพพรรณีนั้น ทำหน้าที่เป็นหน่วยวิชาการ มีบทบาทให้คำปรึกษาทางวิชาการ สนับสนุนนักวิจัยเชิงพื้นที่ให้ทำงานวิจัย โดยใช้องค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ตลอดจนการบริการวิชาการตามความเชี่ยวชาญและประสบการณ์ เพื่อสนับสนุนการพัฒนาของชุมชนในพื้นที่ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับการพัฒนาความเป็นเลิศของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาและพัฒนากำลังคนขั้นสูงของมหาวิทยาลัย

May 13 2025, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University′s Office of Academic Services, in collaboration with local communities, administrative organizations, and partner agencies, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dedicated to the sustainable management of marine and coastal resources on Koh Mak, Trat province. This significant agreement underscores a shared commitment to the conservation, restoration, and sustainable utilization of the island′s vital marine resources, paving the way for robust local development. The signing ceremony, held on May 13, 2025, at the scenic Sweet Cake in Koh Mak, witnessed the participation of key stakeholders. Representing Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University were Assistant Professor Dr. Wayakorn Udomphot, Vice President for Planning and Development, and Assistant Professor Sutthinan Sotwitee, Director of the Office of Academic Services. They joined representatives from pivotal organizations including the Marine and Coastal Resources Office 1 (represented by Acting Sub. Lt. Wisanuphong Wichienrattanakul, Director of Marine Resources Conservation Division), Koh Mak Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Koh Mak Coral Reef Conservation Group, the Naval Command Center for the Protection of National Marine Interests in Trat Province, Koh Mak Tourism Community Enterprise, and the Coral Reef Conservation Foundation. The initiative received crucial support from AGC Vinythai Public Company Limited. Assistant Professor Dr. Wayakorn Udomphot expressed his enthusiasm for this collaborative endeavor, stating, "Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University is immensely proud to be an integral part of driving the sustainable management of Koh Mak′s marine resources. This partnership with all involved sectors today reflects the university′s unwavering commitment to serving as a beacon of knowledge, fostering innovation, and ultimately contributing to tangible local development." Assistant Professor Sutthinan Sotwitee elaborated on the objectives of this crucial collaboration, emphasizing, "Our primary goal is to cultivate a strong and enduring partnership among the coastal communities, local administrative bodies, and all relevant stakeholders. Together, we aim to safeguard and nurture the coral reefs, which are the lifeblood of Koh Mak′s marine ecosystem, ensuring their protection, restoration, and sustainable utilization for generations to come." As a key academic institution, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University will play a vital role in providing expert consultation and supporting local research initiatives. By leveraging its expertise in science, technology, and innovation, alongside its extensive academic services, the university is poised to significantly contribute to the community′s development, aligning perfectly with its mission to foster academic excellence and cultivate high-caliber human capital.
