ทัพนักศึกษาพลิกฟื้นคูคลองยั่งยืน เพื่อทรัพยากรน้ำท้องถิ่น

นักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี ร่วมกับภาครัฐและภาคประชาชน แสดงเจตนารมณ์นำการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน จัดงานใหญ่ “วันอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาแม่น้ำ คู คลอง โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชน” เพื่อสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมสังคม ปลุกจิตสำนึกด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และเป็นคลังสมองด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำตามวิสัยทัศน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยจันทบุรี – 18 กันยายน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เอกชัย กิจเกษาเจริญ รองอธิการบดี ด้านกิจการนักศึกษา ร่วมกับสำนักงานทรัพยากรน้ำที่ 6 และสำนักงานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมจังหวัดจันทบุรี จัดงาน “วันอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาแม่น้ำ คู คลอง โดยการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชน ประจำปี 2568” ณ หอประชุมรำไพพรรณี เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรเมนทรมหาอานันทมหิดล พระอัฐมรามาธิบดินทร เนื่องในโอกาสวันพระบรมราชสมภพครบ 100 ปี 20 กันยายน 2568 และเพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้ในการอนุรักษ์ ฟื้นฟู และพัฒนาสภาพแวดล้อมของแม่น้ำลำคลองอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับความร่วมมือจากทุกภาคส่วน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นหน่วยงานราชการ องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น ภาคเอกชน ทหาร สถาบันการศึกษา กลุ่มผู้ใช้น้ำ และประชาชน โดยมีนักเรียน นักศึกษาเข้าร่วมกว่า 200 คน ซึ่งได้ร่วมกิจกรรมสำคัญ ได้แก่ การพัฒนาสภาพแวดล้อมคูคลอง การปล่อยปลา และการปลูกต้นไม้บริเวณฝายล้นคลองท้าช้าง ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย นอกจากนี้ยังมีการจัดนิทรรศการให้ความรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจในคุณค่าของทรัพยากรน้ำอย่างรอบด้าน ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เอกชัย กิจเกษาเจริญ กล่าวว่า “ความสำเร็จของกิจกรรมในวันนี้ไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่แค่การฟื้นฟูคลองทางกายภาพ แต่เป็นการปลุกจิตสำนึกแห่งความรับผิดชอบร่วมกันที่เกิดขึ้นในหมู่นักศึกษาและชุมชน ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยในการเป็นคลังสมองและผู้นำการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน เรามุ่งมั่นที่จะไม่เพียงแค่ให้ความรู้ แต่ยังลงมือสร้างสรรค์การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่จับต้องได้ เพื่อส่งต่อทรัพยากรน้ำที่สมบูรณ์ให้แก่คนรุ่นต่อไป” การจัดงานในครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณีในการเป็น “มหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว (Green University)” และเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมเพื่อการพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน มหาวิทยาลัยฯ พร้อมยืนหยัดเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับคนรุ่นใหม่ เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างอนาคตที่มั่นคงและยั่งยืนสำหรับจังหวัดจันทบุรีและประเทศไทยต่อไป

Chanthaburi – September 18 In a powerful demonstration of its commitment to sustainable local development and its vision of being a hub of knowledge and innovation, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), in collaboration with government agencies and the public, hosted the "River, Canal, and Ditch Conservation and Development Day with Public Participation 2025." This large-scale event successfully fostered social innovation, raised environmental consciousness, and reinforced the university′s role as a think tank for water resource management. The event, held at the university&#8217s Rambhai Barni Auditorium, was presided over by Asst. Prof. Ekachai Kitkasachroen, Ph.D. Vice President for Student Affairs. The initiative was a joint effort with the Office of Water Resources Region 6 and the Chanthaburi Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment. The project was held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the royal birth of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol, King Rama VIII on September 20, 2568, and aimed to tangibly promote the conservation, restoration, and development of local rivers and canals. The event saw active participation from all sectors, including government officials, local administrative organizations, private companies, military personnel, educational institutions, water user groups, and over 200 students and young people. Key activities included environmental enhancement of canals, fish releases, and tree planting at the Thachang Overflow Weir, located within the university grounds. An environmental knowledge exhibition was also organized to deepen understanding of the value of water resources. In an interview, Assistant Professor Dr. Ekachai Kitkesajaroen stated, "The success of today′s activities extends beyond the physical restoration of the canal. It has awakened a sense of shared responsibility among our students and the community, which is in perfect alignment with our university′s vision of being a thought leader and a driver of sustainable local development. We are committed not only to imparting knowledge but also to creating tangible change that will ensure a complete water resource legacy for the next generation." This event underscores RBRU&#8217s dedication to being a "Green University" and a vital force in creating innovations for sustainable community development. The university remains steadfast in its role as a source of knowledge and inspiration for the new generation, joining hands to build a stable and sustainable future for Chanthaburi province and for all of Thailand.
