<p>สำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี (มรรพ.) ร่วมกับชุมชนบ้านท่าแฉลบ จังหวัดจันทบุรี จัดงานประเพณี "แห่ต้นบุญทางน้ำ" ประจำปี 2568 โดยนำมิติทางวิชาการเข้าสนับสนุนการสืบสานประเพณีดั้งเดิมของชาวคาทอลิกในพื้นที่ เพื่อผลักดันประเพณีดังกล่าวให้เป็นเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมที่สำคัญของจังหวัด</p><p><br></p><p>จันทบุรี - 13 ธันวาคม 2568 สำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี (มรรพ.) ร่วมกับชุมชนบ้านท่าแฉลบ จังหวัดจันทบุรี จัดงานประเพณี "แห่ต้นบุญทางน้ำ" ประจำปี 2568 โดยนำมิติทางวิชาการเข้าสนับสนุนการสืบสานประเพณีดั้งเดิมของชาวคาทอลิกในพื้นที่ เพื่อผลักดันประเพณีดังกล่าวให้เป็นเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรมที่สำคัญของจังหวัด</p><p><br></p><p>งานในปีนี้ได้รับความสนใจอย่างยิ่ง โดยมีเรือประมงพื้นบ้านประดับประดาเข้าร่วมขบวนแห่ทางน้ำอย่างงดงาม ตลอดเส้นทางไปยังอาสนวิหารพระแม่มารีอา ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์รวมศรัทธาของชุมชน ขบวนเรือแสดงออกถึงความสามัคคีและความพร้อมเพรียงของชาวท่าแฉลบ โดยมีเยาวชนและคนรุ่นใหม่เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในการจัดเตรียมงานอย่างเต็มที่</p><p><br></p><p>ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิฆเนศวร ทะกอง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน มรรพ. กล่าวถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยว่า มหาวิทยาลัยได้เข้ามาเติมเต็มในมิติเชิงวิชาการเพื่อช่วยปรับและพัฒนาการนำเสนอประเพณีให้มีคุณค่าและสามารถสร้างการรับรู้ในวงกว้าง โดยเฉพาะการเชื่อมโยงประเพณีกับคนรุ่นใหม่ เพื่อให้เกิดการสืบสานอย่างยั่งยืน นอกจากนี้ยังมีการวางแผนงานประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อต่อยอดทางเศรษฐกิจ ผ่านการกำหนดเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม และการสร้างความร่วมมือกับโรงแรมและร้านค้าที่ตั้งอยู่ริมน้ำ เพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมกับบรรยากาศของเทศกาลได้อย่างสะดวก</p><p><br></p><p>“สิ่งที่น่าสนใจคือ การอนุรักษ์ประเพณีนี้ไม่ได้ขับเคลื่อนด้วยผู้สูงอายุเท่านั้น แต่เป็นพลังของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่เข้ามาช่วยกันคิด วางแผน และร่วมมือกันอย่างเข้มแข็ง นี่คือบทเรียนสำคัญที่เรานำไปถ่ายทอดให้นักศึกษาเห็นถึงการอยู่ร่วมกัน และการขับเคลื่อนงานให้สำเร็จด้วยความเข้าใจที่ตรงกัน” ผศ. ดร.วิฆเนศวร กล่าวเสริม</p><p><br></p><p>ประเพณีแห่ต้นบุญทางน้ำถือเป็นการรักษาไว้ซึ่งวิถีแห่งศรัทธาและการเดินทางทางน้ำเพื่อไปร่วม ′ฉลองวัด′ ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของชุมชนริมน้ำ สำนักศิลปวัฒนธรรมและพัฒนาชุมชน มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏรำไพพรรณี จะยังคงเดินหน้าสนับสนุนประเพณีนี้อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งหวังให้ประเพณีแห่ต้นบุญทางน้ำเป็นจุดเด่นทางวัฒนธรรมที่สำคัญของจังหวัดจันทบุรี และสามารถพัฒนาเป็น "ซอฟต์พาวเวอร์" ที่ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวให้เข้ามาสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมของชุมชนริมน้ำได้ต่อไป</p>
<p>CHANTHABURI, Thailand – December 13, 2025 – The Office of Arts and Culture and Community Development at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU) collaborated with the Ban Tha Chalaep community to host the annual "Hae Ton Boon Thang Nam" (Waterborne Merit Tree Procession). The university integrated academic support to revitalize the Catholic community′s traditional event, aiming to establish it as a significant cultural tourism route in Chanthaburi province.</p><p><br></p><p>This year′s procession drew substantial interest, featuring local fishing boats adorned for the elaborate water parade, which traveled the route to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, a key center of faith. The colorful procession, complete with traditional drums, visibly demonstrated the solidarity and readiness of the Tha Chalaep community, with strong participation from youth and younger generations in the planning and execution.</p><p><br></p><p>Assistant Professor Dr. Wikhanesuan Tagong, Director of the Office of Arts and Culture and Community Development, commented on the university’s role. "The university provided academic dimensions to enhance the presentation of the tradition, increasing its value and broader public recognition," he stated. "This is critical for connecting the tradition with the younger generation to ensure sustainable inheritance. Furthermore, we are developing a public relations plan to generate economic returns by establishing a cultural tourism route and fostering cooperation with hotels and businesses along the waterfront, making it convenient for tourists to experience the festival atmosphere."</p><p><br></p><p>Dr. Wikhanesuan emphasized the shifting dynamics: "What is truly encouraging is that the conservation of this tradition is not driven only by the elderly. It is powered by the new generation, who are actively involved in planning and collaborating vigorously. This is an important lesson we pass on to our students, highlighting the value of coexistence and achieving goals through mutual understanding."</p><p><br></p><p>The Waterborne Merit Tree Procession preserves a centuries-old journey of faith by boat to participate in the ′Feast of the Church.′ RBRU′s ongoing support aims to solidify the tradition as a significant cultural soft power asset for Chanthaburi, attracting visitors who seek to engage with the authentic riverine way of life. The university’s involvement underscores its commitment to using academic resources to promote local heritage and drive sustainable community development.</p>
