<p data-path-to-node="3">The Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), recently supported the development of the Chanthaburi Provincial Agricultural and Cooperative Development Plan (2028–2032) by hosting a collaborative forum to gather insights and recommendations from relevant stakeholders.</p><p data-path-to-node="4">Ajarn Chatchawal Maksin, Head of the Community Development Program, was invited to serve as the lead facilitator. He designed and conducted an interactive learning process that provided an open space for participants to brainstorm, analyze, and propose strategic directions for Chanthaburi’s agricultural sector over the next five years.</p><p data-path-to-node="5">The forum brought together a diverse group of participants, including heads of government agencies, representatives from the public and private sectors, academic institutions, agricultural organizations, and local farmers. Together, they reviewed the draft plan, focusing on critical elements such as vision, mission, strategic goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), development guidelines, and major upcoming projects.</p><p data-path-to-node="6">The process prioritized more than just feedback collection; it focused on ensuring the draft plan remains aligned with ground realities, the province′s potential, the specific needs of farmers, and evolving agricultural trends. This approach aims to create a clear, actionable development plan that addresses the challenges and opportunities of Chanthaburi Province in a tangible way.</p><p data-path-to-node="7">This participation highlights the role of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University in bridging academic expertise in community development and participatory processes with provincial strategic planning. By serving as a neutral ground for knowledge exchange and multi-sectoral cooperation, the university reinforces its commitment to driving a stronger, more sustainable future for Chanthaburi’s agricultural sector.</p>
