<p data-path-to-node="3">On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Wat Phlap, Bang Kacha Subdistrict, Mueang Chanthaburi District, Chanthaburi Province, <b data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="117">Ajarn Nattakrit Chaiariyamethy</b>, Deputy Director of the Office of Arts and Culture and Community Development at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University (RBRU), participated in the opening ceremony of the <b data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="314">2026 Candle Procession Project for Khao Phansa (Buddhist Lent)</b>. He also joined the traditional alms-giving ceremony commemorating the Lord Buddha′s descent from Tavatimsa Heaven, organized by the Bang Kacha Subdistrict Municipality to promote, preserve, and pass down fine Buddhist traditions and local heritage.</p><p data-path-to-node="4">The event featured an official opening ceremony, local cultural performances, alms-giving rituals, and a vibrant candle procession traveling to prominent local temples within the Bang Kacha subdistrict, including Wat Sing, Wat Bot Phloi Haeo, Wat Phlap, and Wat Wiwekaram. The celebration was marked by the enthusiastic participation and close collaboration of government agencies, local residents, and community members.</p><p data-path-to-node="5">This participation reflects RBRU&#8217s ongoing commitment to promoting cultural arts, preserving cherished traditions, and fostering community engagement in supporting Buddhism, while building unity and sustainable social strength through valued cultural activities.</p>
