Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University is actively advancing its environmental strategy. On October 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., University President Associate Professor Porphan Sutthiwatthana chaired a meeting of the Carbon Neutrality Management Unit (CNMU) committee at the Sam Sorn Conference Room, Building 36. The committee reached a significant resolution to accelerate the university&#8217s progress toward carbon neutrality through a proactive two-year short-term plan. This initiative includes a three-phase roadmap—covering energy conservation, the adoption of solar power and electric vehicles, and comprehensive waste management—as well as the implementation of biochar innovations, all as part of a long-term strategy aimed at achieving Net Zero. Furthermore, the university is preparing to enhance the expertise of its personnel to become certified verifiers, supported by a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) and the Department of Climate Change and Environment. The university will also integrate Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to assist in the analysis, planning, and monitoring of its operations—including greenhouse gas emission assessments and energy management. Additionally, the university plans to establish a "Carbon Footprint Service Center" to provide concrete support and services to the local community and the private sector in the future.
