<p data-path-to-node="5,0"><b data-path-to-node="5,0" data-index-in-node="14">Lecturer Chatchawan Maksin</b>, Deputy Director of the Office of Arts, Culture, and Community Development at Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, represented the university at the <b data-path-to-node="5,0" data-index-in-node="188">2026 Chanthaburi Reed Mat Community Enterprise Working Group Meeting</b> at the Chanthaburi Provincial Agricultural Office.</p><p data-path-to-node="5,1">The meeting focused on elevating the quality of reed mat products, enhancing brand image, and expanding market opportunities. Key strategies discussed included conserving reed plantations, fostering intergenerational knowledge transfer, and innovating product designs to meet modern consumer demands.</p><p data-path-to-node="5,2">As a key educational partner, <b data-path-to-node="5,2" data-index-in-node="30">RBRU proposed a systematic development roadmap</b>, starting with the creation of a <b data-path-to-node="5,2" data-index-in-node="110">comprehensive database</b> of reed growers and weavers to enable precise management. Furthermore, the university proposed designating <b data-path-to-node="5,2" data-index-in-node="240">"Wang Suan Ban Kaew"</b> as a strategic site to link local history with reed mat wisdom, serving as a dedicated learning hub for students and the public.</p><p data-path-to-node="5,3">A standout proposal was the initiative to establish a <b data-path-to-node="5,3" data-index-in-node="54">"Chanthaboon Mat Organizational Culture"</b> within provincial agencies. This aims to promote the daily use of local products, increasing social awareness while simultaneously boosting the local economy and ensuring the sustainable preservation of Chanthaburi’s cultural identity.</p>
